Meet the Indian Runners – our wonderfully quirky, penguin-like ducks that are sure to turn heads (and raise a few smiles!). With their upright posture and comical waddle, they look more like bowling pins on the move than your average duck – but don’t be fooled, these little legends are fantastic egg layers too!

Indian Runners are active, alert, and endlessly entertaining. They don’t tend to fly or waddle into water like traditional ducks – instead, they run around with purpose, patrolling the garden like they’re on a mission. They’re brilliant foragers, love a bit of freedom, and are surprisingly friendly once they get to know you.

Available in a range of beautiful colours, our Runners are raised outdoors at Bisley Birds with plenty of space, fresh air, and a good dose of human interaction – giving them a confident, healthy start.
